Ride Idaho 2015

The Route

Water. Forest. Mountains.

This year, we’re going to show you Eastern Idaho

like you’ve never seen it before.

From Peak to Peak with amazing scenery in between, we think we have created an Eastern Idaho route that will surpass your every expectation. We start this year’s ride from that all to infamous resort town of Ketchum /Sun Valley gathering at the base of Bald Mountain Ski Hill.

Heading out through the Wood River Valley we will ride past horse pastures, cattle ranches, and farm land before entering the Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve a vast ocean of lava flows with scattered islands of cinder cones and sagebrush.

Next you will pass through Arco the first city to be lit by atomic power, and then on through mazes of wheat, barley and alfalfa field surrounding the city of Terreton until we enter the Teton Valley. As we gaze up at the majestic Teton Mountains we pass through the charming towns of Driggs and Victor and  begin our ascent to the top of  Teton Pass dropping down into the valley floor of  Jackson Hole Wyoming, known as the gateway to the Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Here we will enjoy our lay-over day that will more then fill any outdoor enthusiasts craving.  Winding down the week, we ride past Palisades reservoir and follow the Snake River known to many as fly fisherman’s haven and on to our last camp in Irwin Swan Valley. Our final days ride to Idaho Falls is short and not without some sadness, it’s over, “wow” what a week, one I’ll never forget.  Will this be you?
